"Exceptional quality, animal welfare and fair pay for our employees - that's what Brunnerhof stands for. Transparency and honesty towards our customers are also particularly important to us, because our goal is to offer people quality local food from our own production. Everyone who buys from us should know where and how our goods are produced. The animal welfare of our pigs is our top priority. For this reason, our fattening pigs are exclusively fed straw and processed directly on the farm into meat and sausage."
For over 50 years, the Brunnerhof has been family-run and managed with common sense, animal welfare and respect for creation and nature. The young generation around owner Josef Brunner junior would like to maintain this idea by keeping the farm open for guests and interested parties also in the next generation. For generations, the Brunner family's guiding principle has been to offer natural, high-quality products that are not unnecessarily contaminated with chemicals. The focus of the Brunnerhof is strongly on regional added value combined with short transport routes for animals and goods. The operators of the Brunnerhof clearly distance themselves from industrial meat and sausage mass production at the expense of employee wages, the environment and animal husbandry that is not appropriate to the species.
