"I am very grateful to Mother Earth for giving me fruit every year and I respect the rules of nature by planting old varieties of fruits and vegetables and not using pesticides or chemical fertilizers. I pay a lot of attention to quality in order to produce living and natural food. Important to me are home-grown seeds of old varieties, healthy soil rich in minerals, and open-air cultivation. The sun-ripened, hand-picked fruits are processed freshly harvested and prepared on the wood stove according to old family tradition. I do not use additives such as sugar, gelatine or pectins."
Jelena Bauer inherited about 10 hectares of fertile land on the South Morava River in southern Serbia from her grandparents in 1995, where she has been growing fruit and vegetables naturally ever since. Since 2014, she has been selling the lovingly produced products from her own fields, gardens and from the forests of Serbia in her farm store in Wolfring Fensterbach. In doing so, Jelena Bauer gives each jar a portion of love and a few rays of sunshine from her unspoiled homeland.
