"Passing on the traditional and valuable knowledge about plants and herbs is the base of my herbal tours and my manufactory. It is close to my heart to show people how easily our local herbs enrich many daily dishes and how good they taste. The production of my products is done exclusively with high-quality certified organic raw materials in small batches and I also have high standards for processing and packaging. Thus, my herbal salts are lovingly stirred by hand and filled manually. My customers appreciate the good quality and taste of my herbal products very much!"
Without much previous knowledge, Ulrike Gschwendtner completed the training as a certified herb guide in 2012 as a career changer. Other participants already tended their own gardens and brought with them experience and knowledge of all kinds of plants. At that time, Ulrike Gschwendtner was not yet able to have her say, but she listened all the more eagerly and absorbed the new knowledge. Today, she looks back on her instructive year of training at the Waldsassen Environmental Station with pleasure: she learned to look at nature from a new perspective and to perceive it with all her senses. Slowly but steadily, her initial curiosity grew into a fascinated connection with plants and nature. Following her training, Ulrike Gschwendtner was able to deepen and constantly expand her solid basic knowledge through many advanced training courses - because you never stop learning.
